i have a question about facebook chat

i did notice that it doesn't work under firefox 2 or 3 (last version)
but work 100% under microsoft explorer


is there something i can do to use the facebook chat under firefox ?
i tried firefox 2 and 3 , nothing
the java is enabled

i'm under xp sp3 for now

Now that THAT is out the way...

I want to try Firefox.

^^I NEVER thought I would say that lol. The Firefox fanboys always turned me off to using the browser or even giving it a fair shot but I think it's time to stop ignoring it. So Neowin, I need your help once again. Besides downloading the program, where do I start? I know I can browse the net and find tons of reviews and plugins but I enjoy your responses more than some random ass blog site.

What plugins would you suggest? What is so damn cool about this browser that has everyone downloading it? Any feedback would be appreciated!

I look forward to your suggestions and trying them out. Also, why do you love/like Firefox?

Chrome pwns every browser on Xp Platform in terms of performance , but for Windows 7 there is a battle between Safari and Chrome , both are faster in some or other aspect.While firefox 3.5.4/3.6 are looking almost same when it comes to performance , but in few aspects one of them is faster (strange?)

I dunno if these benchmarks are correct enough , but still im loving firefox 3.6 Beta 1 for its nice speed , boot up time and personas! Chrome is nice , but needs to have some stability in order to make me use it tongue.gif Safari is almost the same thing in different bottle, Opera was/is never for me. Im confused whether to use 3.5.4 or 3.6 beta1. U guys plz tell which of them is faster in REAL LIFE.

Results show that

Chrome 3 is 13% faster than Safari 4
Safari 4 is 45% faster than Firefox 3.6 Beta 1
Firefox 3.6 Beta 1 is 9% faster than 3.5.4
Firefox 3.5.4 is 48% faster than Opera 10.10 Beta
on windows 7 RTM platform

Okay I can see why Chrome is so light, but why on earth are Safari and IE such huge installs.
