What if there was a software application that could weave together all the images of a specific location and create a 3D view from it, what if this same application allowed users to upload their images so eventually we could have a virtual earth. With places all over the world in 3D on our computers?

didnt apple do this awhile back with quicktime VR?? was good for a while, but as already said, it'll get boring after the initial 'wow' factor fades away

That really does look like a great program.
It looks like it has much more potential than QT VR. reminds me of the wow factor in google earth. the ability to view the whole world on ur pc. now its just like "meh, anyone can do that" who brags about google earth these days?

google will do the same...or maybe get there before microsoft
