This is the greatest Winamp skin I've seen man! Everything about it, is too cool. When will the final version be released?

Also man, would it be possible to have an option like this...

I have my playlist minimized underneath the main window. My whole player is docked up top. When I maximize my playlist, it moves itself up to the top of the main window and i can't see the whole thing, only half of it. I am thinking it does this, because the playlist opens bottom to top. Would it be possible to have an option where windows would maximize from top to bottom? Or anyway I could do it in Winamp?

i have no idea what your talking about  can you rephrase that in a way thats easier to understand man

this is the best winamp skin ever... this and Aqua X are the only ones I use... but dude... one thing can put this skin as the best ever... UNICODE SUPPORT... i know therez lotta things saying u cant support it... but I think someone smart enough can somehow figure it out... any suggestion on how i get modern skins to display chinese + jpese?

cupsarap, you'll have to double-click the top of the PL regular/shademode window to get it to expand from top to bottom. The second button from the right is now used to expand it from bottom to top, as requested by leedogg.

KZWings, set the Notifier to Forever (Hold Time = 21) to keep it onscreen all the time.

Tandy, here's how you get the coverart to show different pictures for each album. Place an image called folder.jpg or cover.jpg or front.jpg in the folder with your music. Here's a screenshot to better describe what I mean.

theres one small problem, most of my music is in the 1 folder...? Also, the image that currently appears is of one of my bands, but i have no idea where the image is, its not with my music, ive searched everywhere for it.

democles, when the original winamp skin displayed, you had minimized winamp and then restored it? Or you had put the playlist in shademode and then returned to the normal layout? I'm just confused because there is no way to "maximize" the player.

Tandy, senior is correct in that you must organize your music. This skin looks for an image in the folder where your music is. Create a folder for each album you have and in that folder place an image called cover.jpg or front.jpg. This image is what this skin looks for on every track change.

Tandy, there's no way to have it to show the cover set in the tags of each mp3 (as musicmatch does).

:(

and/or...

Hi axialix,

First things first: very very nice skin! I am really loving it.

If you are working on the cover displaying feature maybe you would please consider add another option?

In all my music folders there is a .jpg that contains the cover of the album. But my music manager (Helium 2005) names them cover ?Artist ? Album.jpg? automatically. So maybe it is possible to let your cover feature chose the .jpg file by preference?

This is what I mean: if there are multiple .jpg in a music folder, it could prefer a file with the word ?front? in it. Next with the word ?cover? in it, next with ?whatever? and when there are no files with these words in it it could chose the first one on alphabet (or you could prevent it form choosing a file with the word ?back? in it?)

I don?t know if this is a lot of work to build in but it would be very very very great! Otherwise I (and I think a lot of people with me) have to rename all the .jpg files ( > 300 )

It?s just an idea?

Barisko

Here's the deal folks, this coverart business is a limitation of Winamp, not this skin. Have you ever seen another winamp skin that would get covers from ID3 tags or anywhere else but your hard drive? If you have, boy I'd sure like to know about it. As for renaming 300+ files, you can do it in about 5 seconds using Magic File Renamer or another similiar file renaming program.

    • "The 2TB Samsung 990 PRO NVMe SSD hits lowest price in over three months¨ I'd prefer to see the lowest price in over a year
    • Glad these prices are starting to come down, but that is still crazy. I bought the 2TB 9100 Pro (slightly more expensive version with PCIe 5.0) last year for $240.
    • The 2TB Samsung 990 PRO NVMe SSD hits lowest price in over three months by Sayan Sen Yesterday, we covered a really good deal wherein you can get a 4TB TeamGroup T-FORCE G50 NVMe PCIe Gen4 SSD for a low price of just $400 with a special discount coupon. That's just $100 per TB, making it a very good offer during these hard times. The deal is still live, so you can check it out in its dedicated article here if you do not want to miss out. Meanwhile, if you don't have that kind of budget but still wish to buy an SSD for a good price, the 2TB variant of the TeamGroup SSD at $280 its lowest price in over three months. Meanwhile, those seeking 2TB but faster performance can check out Samsung's 990 PRO, which has hit the lowest price also in the last quarter or so, as it's on sale for $370 (purchase links under the specs table down below). Thus, you want a faster drive, get the 990 Pro, or you want more capacity, grab the TeamGroup 4TB linked in the first para. The 990 PRO is a PCIe Gen4 NVMe SSD and still one of the fastest drives available today for under $500. Speaking of fast, sequential reads and writes are rated at 7450 MB/s and 6900 MB/s, respectively. The random throughputs for reads and writes are 1400K IOPS and 1550K IOPS, respectively. The 990 PRO is based on Samsung's 7th Gen V-NAND flash, and it too is TLC. It packs 2 gigs of LPDDR4 DRAM cache, which helps the random performance. The endurance rating for this is 1200 TBW (terabytes written), which should be sufficient for most users. The Samsung 990 PRO is compatible with the PlayStation 5, but if you are going to use the 990 PRO on a PC, check out the Samsung Magician app that lets you track your drive's health, update its firmware, customize various settings, and more. • If you can't spell a simple word that 2nd graders learn, your entire argument is suspect.
    • And here goes the "Won't someone think of the children" brigade. Get stuffed mate. This has NOTHING to do with making the internet safe. It's about tracking adults, spying on your online activity, and sending the boys around when they don't like something you post. Also, again, parliament have voted TWICE against this, and Starmer is going ahead anyway. THAT is anti-democratic bullsh**. They will use this law to track you, they will use this law to control you, and they will use this law to punish you if they don't like what you do, even if it's legal. And your data? Say bye bye to that. It'll be on the darkweb in weeks. I'm not some rando online. I've been an IT professional for 40 years, many of it in security. I know exactly what this means and what will happen to your data. I do not consent and I will not comply.
