Star Wars: The Force Awakens Google Cardboard viewers are now available at Verizon Wireless

Last week, Google and Star Wars announced a partnership that would bring enhanced experiences to Gmail, Google Maps, and more. Now, it's Verizon's turn to get in on the action by unveiling their new 'Star Wars: The Force Awakens' Google Cardboard viewers.

Verizon Wireless stores are now offering customers the Google Cardboard viewers at select retailers and while supplies last. As for designs, you can see the options above - with four different viewers being made available.

Naturally, the Cardboard viewers don't do much on their own, but are best when utilized with VR apps from the Google Play or iOS App Store. To celebrate the impending release of the film, you can download the Star Wars app and enjoy a unique serialized Google Cardboard VR experience. The VR episode titled “Jakku Spy” will tie in directly to the upcoming film.

Star Wars: The Force Awakens will arrive in theaters on December 18th, 2015.
