Guerrilla Collective postponed, now scheduled to take place from June 13 to 15

Following growing concerns over the risks of the ongoing pandemic, this year's E3 gaming conference was cancelled by the Entertainment Software Association. To resurrect the spirit of the event, the Guerrilla Collective was announced as a virtual replacement to the gaming event.

The digital event was initially scheduled to take place from June 6 to June 8. That has changed now as per an announcement made today which postponed the digital gaming exhibition. In order to show solidarity with the tragic events that have occurred recently, the Guerilla Collective will now take place from June 13 to June 14.

In the meantime, the platform has decided to direct its efforts towards supporting the Black Lives Matter movement. Instead of the originally planned presentations and announcements, a special livestream will be broadcast on June 7 to highlight the work and efforts of black members in the gaming industry.

This is not the only such event to be affected by the movement that is currently going on in the U.S. Many other companies including Sony and Google have delayed their announcements and presentations to allow more important topics to take the spotlight.
