Yeah the whole mystery around The Strangers is the only reason to like this movie "because you were home"

I watched Red Dawn, 2012 version, the other night and it was the crappiest movie I've ever seen. Extremely poor acting.

I just watched The Strangers myself.Had never heard of it and found out about here in this topic.I really liked it.Its the kind of "thriller" movies i enjoy.

The kind that is mostly psychological and less blood.

I give it a 6.5/10.

 

Do you guys have any other thriller movies like that to suggest? I have also enjoyed "When a stranger calls" even though it has a low rating, because it has that sense when someone is watching you or even is in the house and you are not sure what's going on, etc.

 

So if u know any movies similar to these it would be great!

Miles better than X-Men Origins (not that difficult), but still pretty much fluff and little story. A movie about a guy with claws and anger issues and a PG-13 doesn't really work.

Prepare to be patient, this is not Drive. This movie is a slow and simbolic-driven nightmare, in a good sense.

Hard Luck - 10/10. One of my personal favorites. Low budget Mario Van Peebles production but I love it. Cybil Shepard is great. After the horrendous Gallowwalkers, I had to watch a decent Snipes movie (US Marshalls with Tommy Lee Jones is good too)..
