Apple to sell 128 GB iPad on February 5th

The rumors hit the web a few days ago and now Apple has pulled back the covers on a 128 GB version of its 4th generation iPad sporting a Retina display. The price for entry will be $799 for the WiFi model and the LTE+WiFi model will set you back $929.

If you are looking to get your hands on this device, you won't have to wait long as the iPad will hit shelves on the 5th of February and will be available in black and white.

A 128 GB iPad is certainly targeted at a limited market as for the price of the tablet, one could buy a reasonably equipped laptop that would offer up more functionality. But, if you are someone who likes to carry a significant quantity of movies on your iPad, this could be your ideal device.

Apple has touted that it has sold more than 120 million iPads to date and it sees the 128 GB device as a no compromise device as its storage capacity lets you experience the best of iPad without having to worry about your storage space filling up.
