BlackBerry PRIV gets discounted to $349 for those in the US

It seems like the BlackBerry PRIV is getting some amazing discounts lately, but if you don't feel comfortable purchasing from a third party, you can always scoop up the handset directly from BlackBerry at a discounted priced of $349.

This new price drop applies to those in the US and can be had by heading to BlackBerry's official online store. The PRIV isn't the latest and greatest, but it does offer a fairly unique form factor and a decent set of specifications which you can see down below.

In terms of major specs, the BlackBerry PRIV includes:

  • 5.43-inch QHD curved AMOLED display
  • Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 processor
  • 3GB RAM
  • 32GB of storage with microSD expansion
  • 18MP rear camera with 2MP front-facing camera
  • 3,410mAh battery with fast charging
  • GPS, NFC, Wi-Fi, 3.5mm headset jack

If you are interested in something a bit newer, you can always opt for the more recently announced BlackBerry KEYone. The handset made its debut last month at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, where we managed to get some hands-on time with the device, and offers a reasonable set of specifications for $549. The device is expected to arrive in various markets in April.
