If you fancy playing Minecraft like it was remodeled after a bizarre Saturday morning cartoon, the Cartoon Texture Pack may be what you're looking for.
Today, Mojang announced the availability of the Cartoon Texture Pack for Pocket and Windows 10 Editions for $2.99 USD and $4.80 NZD in the store. The add-on description states:
Turn your world into a toon with the latest texture pack! Give your pigs a higher derp factor – and resolution to boot. Reshape villagers’ noses! Make sheep look startled!
The pack does not manipulate the environment as much as it focuses on transforming mobs and villages into the stuff of happy nightmares. The in-game sun and some of the plants have been personified with over gleaming smiles, which only further adds to the creepy undertones.
The Cartoon Texture add-on was originally released on the Xbox 360 back in 2014 and has since made its way over to the Pocket Editions. Mojang recently announced the availability of the Exploration update, so perhaps this Texture Pack may complement and add a veneer of silliness on top of your wild Minecraft expeditions.
