Microsoft adds Hitman HD Pack to Xbox One Backward Compatibility

Following Costume Quest and From Dust's arrival Tuesday, Microsoft is back today with another addition to its Xbox One Backward Compatibility list. Hitman HD Pack is the new arrival, which is a games bundle containing Hitman 2: Silent Assassin and Hitman: Contracts.

These were 2013 remasters of the two classic games for the Xbox 360, which are now playable natively on Xbox One consoles. Here's the HD Pack's store page, which is digitally purchasable for those without the original Xbox 360 disks at hand:

Experience Hitman 2: Silent Assassin and Hitman: Contracts now in HD. Enter the mind of Agent 47, the world’s most deadly assassin. Staying anonymous, being smart and totally ruthless is the key to a perfect execution.

Although this is technically two games, since it comes as a pack, the backward compatible games list only goes up by one, which now stands at 592 original Xbox and Xbox 360 games.

Fans of older Hitman titles shouldn't forget that IO Interactive released the Hitman HD Enhanced Collection earlier this year, containing newly remastered versions of Hitman: Blood Money and Hitman: Absolution. This more modern collection is available for both Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
