Sony kicks off E3 with a new look at Naughty Dog's "The Last of Us Part 2"

Sony started off its E3 presentation with a heavy hitter, giving fans a new look at The Last of Us Part 2. The original The Last of Us debuted in 2013 and was a huge success for the PlayStation platform.

While the introduction to the game starts off in a peaceful barn, it quickly transitions into a densely forested area with plenty of dangers lurking about. The main protagonist, Ellie, stealthily moves about, eliminating enemies until discovered, requiring her to flee. The enemies actions against her are sharp and calculated. Although this is a game, you can see that the developer put an immense effort into making it feel like you're actually existing in the world.

Although this isn't the first time we are getting to look at the game, it is nice to get some new footage. Be sure to check out the gameplay trailer from E3 above. While there isn't a firm release date, those interested can certainly look forward to it when it arrives in the future.
