If the answer works for you to any of those questions, I think I may have something that would be music to your ears. A customized Metal Gear Solid 4 PlayStation 3! Oh, did I mention it's going to cost over $5,000?
That's right, the PlayStation 3 you thought sold for $17,000 is back on the market. That is, after the winning bid was found to be placed by a bogus account. The modded PS3 is signed by Hideo Kojima and features a laser etched image of Solid Snake on the front. In addition to a custom controller and MGS4 t-shirt, there are plenty of other goodies going to the person with the winning bid. Including a MGS4 strategy guide, World Tour - Launch Day dog tags, and a GA-KO alarm clock.
The fact that a portion of the money made will go to a charity makes this more acceptable, but come on, thousands of dollars for something that costs a fraction of the price new? Lets be honest, how much time will you spend looking at the machine while playing a game. Now on the other hand, there is no doubt that this is a well done piece of machinery. A lot of time and effort has gone into making this, and the artists definitely had their head in the right place with getting involved with a charity. Good luck to the bidders, and I hope the seller gets what they are looking for.
