Nubia V18 debuts with $205 price tag, metal chassis, and 4,000mAh battery

The Nubia V18 has long been rumored and now the firm has officially announced the handset in a variety of colors.

While the design may be somewhat uninspiring when compared to the myriad of other devices on the market, at least the specifications and price are fairly decent. The handset is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor, 4GB RAM, and has 64GB of internal storage. The storage can be expanded using a microSD card up to 200GB. The display comes in at 6.01 inches and is a 1080p LCD panel with an 18:9 aspect ratio. Surprisingly, the unit only has a single camera sensor on the rear, coming in at 13MP, with a front-facing camera that is 8MP. Lastly, it will pack a large 4,000mAh battery and a chassis made of metal rather than plastic.

Perhaps the saving grace of this handset is the price, coming in at ¥1,299 which is around $204 USD. As you might expect, the Nubia V18 is currently only available in China. Pre-orders for the handset start today and the official release will be on March 28.
