Every once and a while you may want to go through and audit / analyze your bills to see how much you are paying for each subscription service.

This will help you find out if you even still need the service or if there are better prices to be had by switching a service(s) to another provider.

Case and point, last night I had a customer who had issues with their frontier internet connection (Shocker). I asked them what speed they were paying for and how much they were paying.

They said they had the slowest speed but did not know how much they were paying.

After we got off the phone with frontier and got their issue fixed (They got a new modem a year ago yet for some reason frontier still had the old modem on their account *Shrugs*), they transferred us over to billing so we could find out how much they were paying.

Turns out their internet connection through frontier was only a 1 MB Internet Connection, upgradable to 3 MB.

Between modem rental, internet, telephone (which they would love to drop but they have only for the frontier internet) internet security package (which they did not even know they had thus were not using), taxes, and fees, they are paying $101 a month. (WHAT!!?!?!)

I told them to give Premier Communications a call. They could drop their phone because it's fiber-based and for $59 could have a 75 MB internet connection.

As you can see, it pays to take a look every once in a while. Doing so could save you a lot of money.
