Well today Bink sent out the first Newsletter in collaboration with Neowin and I thought it was a cracker! Bink is busy right now so I am doing the announcement for him.
In this issue Bink discusses his upgrade from NT4 to 2000 MCSE, SQL service pack that has been released, SharePoint Portal Server 2001 Service Pack 1, IE6 sp1 beta1 build 1114 (that has not been leaked), win2k SRP Beta program starting where you can sign up here using logon: SRPBeta and pass: W2KSRP. Also Beta build Beta 1 RC 3.51 for Windows 2000 Service Pack 3, Cumulative Patch for IE 5.5 / 6.0 that can be downloaded here. The Windows Media Player .ASF Processor Contains Unchecked Buffer patch that can be downloaded here for 6.4/7.1, XP users can get the update via Windows Update.
Also it was announced that Exchange Server 2000 would get its 2nd Service pack on Decemeber 1st, then everything went quiet! The link was pulled and it was not released, MS Support pages get a new look check it out here, DX8.1 is out alongside the release of Windows XP Embedded.
