Google has released the Google Talk Gadget – a web-based module of Google Talk. What better way to communicate than from your home page (assuming it's the Google Personalized Homepage)? Both Gmail and Google Talk contacts are organized in the Talk Gadget. No extra installation is necessary, just add the gadget and start chatting! Another advantage is cross-operating system compatibility, assuming your web browser can handle it. After adding some code to your webpage or blog, the gadget can be available on your site as well. The gadget allows tabbed conversations and can view YouTube videos and Picasa Web Albums photos anytime a link is sent over, by IM or status message.
