Karate Champ, Burger Time, and Bad Dudes make their mini arcade debuts

Last year, Nintendo ushered in a new wave of retro nostalgia with the NES Classic Edition. The firm doubled down on the idea this year with the SNES Classic Edition. While most companies don't have access to their own supply of games, it hasn't stopped them from licensing and producing their own retro game items.

A couple months back, we saw miniaturized replica arcade cabinets being produced and now it seems to have become a small trend, as My Arcade is throwing its hat into the ring with its own trio of offerings. Partnering with Data East, My Arcade will release Micro Players, which are miniature arcade cabinets standing six inches tall, featuring games from the 1980s like BurgerTime, Bad Dudes, and Karate Champ.

While they look great with their retro art, they are also fully playable. The arcade stick can be removed for players that want to use a directional pad and the cabinets feature a 3.5mm audio jack with adjustable volume. Perhaps best of all, these units are priced at $29.99 and are currently ready to ship. If interested you can head to the My Arcade website.
