Ubisoft has announced the official title for the third instalment in the Prince of Persia series, due out on PC, PS2 and Xbox later this year. Prince of Persia The Two Thrones is said to take the best bits of the Sands of Time and Warrior Within and combine them with new gameplay elements, such as a new Speed Kill system, chariot combat racing and a second playable character.
The game's storyline begins with our hero and love interest Kaileena returning to Babylon, only to find there's a bloody great war going on. Kaileena is brutally murdered and her death unleashes the Sands of Time, which is not a good thing. The prince, cast out onto the streets and hunted as a fugitive, finds himself gradually being possessed by the spirit of the deadly Dark Prince
