The Steam Lunar New Year Sale is back with another round of discounted games, all celebrating the new Year of the Pig. Alongside its newly discounted wares, Steam has also brought in a special event -Rewards Booth - where users can redeem tokens for various rewards such as badges, profile backgrounds, and more.
However, for the first time ever, there is an extra discount available for Steam users. If the first purchase from the sale is above $30, the store will give out an additional $5 discount. Note that the amounts change depending on the user's region.
Moreover, buying games during the sale will also grant tokens for use in the aforementioned Rewards Booth. Remember to grab the red envelop that is being offered to everyone on the sale page here, it grants a free token pack for use on the redeeming page.
The Steam Lunar New Year Sale is slated to run until February 11, giving everyone an entire week to peruse all of the deals and make their purchasing decisions. Meanwhile, the tokens and the Reward Booth promotion will expire on February 12.
