Microsoft today announced during a Tech Community AMA that an LTSC release based on Windows 11 will ship a few years after the one based on Windows 10 version 21H2 ships this year.
Microsoft has confirmed that it will be releasing Windows 10 version 21H2 later this year. While it adds that there will be "new updates to current features", there isn't much information yet.
While Microsoft has been preparing new LTSC versions of products like Windows Server, it's now started to publish that the next version is Windows Server 2022. The news comes alongside build 20292.
