The Beatles Rock Band set to have two more albums as DLC

The New York Times has revealed in a piece detailing the upcoming Beatles Rock Band two more full albums scheduled for release as downloadable content. Previously-announced Abbey Road will now be joined by Rubber Soul and Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band, and unlike other games in the Rock Band series, the content will only be compatible with the Beatles version.

In terms of gameplay, The Beatles Rock Band won't differ too far from the tried-and-tested formula of hitting notes to score points, but the artwork and aesthetics have been given a makeover in order to fit more appropriately with the music. In addition, the vocals element now allows for three people to sing along in harmony, with each singer having their own separate track to follow. Currently, 30 of the 45 tracks for inclusion on the disc have been announced.
