Went to a customer's house today, to transfer files off 2 computers to a new computer. Turns out, they were a core 2 duo Macbook and a 2011 i7 17 inch MacBook pro. After i'm done he says "what should I do with them? Can I just throw them away?" 😮 .... in which I offered to take them off his hands and removed the hard drives for him.

Removed the hard drive out of the 17 inch and replaced it with a 250 GB SSD.

      Core i7 (17-inch, Late 2011)
      8GB of Memory
      240GB SSD

At this moment i'm trying the MacOS Catalina Patcher.

F***ing windows 8 and the removal of the F8 key. Helping someone who is having issues logging tin their profile, was going to do the stupid, shift key and the restart button but upon them booting their computer up it automatically started logging in (Even when they had 2 accounts to choose from. One account was misbehaving, the other was a brand new one that just says welcome), which was just say welcome. Had to kill power on boot twice to kick it into  recovery mode. F***ing Microsoft, That poor hard drive.

It's unfathomable that they make you kill power  on boot 2 to 3 times as a last resort, instead of simply pressing F8.

Now the recovery is repairing disk errors.... not sure we we caused those errors by killing power on boot or if he has bad sectors.

Now the recovery is repairing disk errors.... not sure we we caused those errors by killing power on boot or if he has bad sectors.

Then they f***ing removed all information useful information from chkdsk so we don't know what the f*** it's doing. All it says now is "Repairing Disk errors. This may take over an hour to complete"

      God Damn Microsoft.
