EA announced today that it will be hosting a live reveal event for the next entry in the Battlefield series on May 23 at 1pm PT, also confirming the game's name to be Battlefield V. Trevor Noah will be hosting the event, with the stream available to watch on the official Battlefield channels on YouTube, Twitch, Mixer as well as via Battlefield.com
In the announcement, EA says the event will give a "first look into how your epic journey with Battlefield V will be," and cryptically adds that "Battlefield will never be the same." The DICE team in charge of developing the game will also be present in the livestream to "share their vision" as well
EA had already spilled the beans earlier this year that it had a new Battlefield game cooking, but other than today's name reveal, there isn't any concrete information on the shooter just yet. However, there are some leaks circulating that suggest we will see the series return to the Second World War with this installment.
