First Max Payne 3 DLC packs and online pass announced

Max Payne 3 isn't due to be released until May 15th but today the third person action game's publisher Rockstar Games has gone ahead and announced plans to release its first DLC pack. The Local Justice Map Pack will add three new multiplayer maps to the game. One is titled Police Precinct and will support Max Payne 3's Gang Wars, Deathmatch, Team Deathmatch and Payne Killer modes.

Two more unnamed maps will support the Deathmatch, Team Deathmatch and Payne Killer modes. In addition, the DLC pack will add new avatars, multiplayer challenges and other unnamed content. The individual price for the DLC pack has not been revealed.

Rockstar also announced that it is now selling the Max Payne 3 Rockstar Pass, which allows people to purchase all of the planned DLC packs for the game ahead of time for one discounted price. The online pass is available to purchase at Best Buy and GameStop stores for $29.99. PS3 owners can also purchase the pass online directly via the Playstation Store.
