NCAA March Madness Live comes to Windows 10 phones, tablets and PCs as Universal app

While not everyone is yet sold on the merits of Microsoft's Universal Windows Platform, the number of apps built upon it continues to grow each week. One of the latest high-profile examples is the official NCAA March Madness Live app, which is now available in the Windows Store.

Microsoft says that the app is "ready to deliver every tip-off, layup, 3-pointer and slam-dunk of this year’s NCAA Tournament." You can watch live games or play them back on-demand, along with an improved bracket picking experience, and sweepstakes for the NCAA March Madness Bracket Challenge.

The app has a new look compared with earlier versions, featuring a new responsive design, and support across Windows 10 phones, tablets and PCs.

It also offers Live Tile support on the Start screen (including the ability to pin a secondary tile for your favorite team), along with push notifications to keep you updated on all the action in the NCAA Division I Men's Basketball Championship.
