A few days ago, Chinese smartphone-maker nubia teased that the company would be rebranding and 'getting a new look' on April 13. True to its word, today nubia delivered its promise made on Twitter and unveiled a new logo and brand image aimed at a younger audience.

Taking to Weibo, the company's rebranded logo and image were delivered through a colorful, fun and splashy 29-second video which was specially designed to attract generation Z, as per the post's caption.

As per the post (translated from Chinese), nubia believes that a fresh new brand image will be a fresh start for the company. It also stated that the smartphone manufacturer will aim to provide a smarter, younger, and more stylish lifestyle through its products under its revamped brand vision.

In the past, nubia launched its Red Magic sub-brand to focus on gaming smartphones. With the progression of time, it started branching out even more and launched interesting tech wares such as the nubia Alpha, a smartwatch with a foldable display, and more recently, the nubia Z20 which touts dual displays. It will be interesting to see how this new transition plays out.
