Facebook has designated $150 million of its $1 billion Catalyst Housing Fund to build 2,000 homes for those on low-incomes. It said projects can begin requesting money from the fund from today.

Facebook has shared an update about its Catalyst Housing Fund, an initiative it began in 2016 with $20 million of investment. The firm says it's on track to invest $1 billion in the next decade.
