As many of you know, I usually don't post about console news here on Neowin. But recently I've come to the conclusion that since no one else really does, and I am the gaming guru (you know it) on Neowin, I might as well start posting some. So, to start today off I thought I'd post about the big Microsoft X06 Press Conference that took place yesterday. I missed alot of the stuff that happened and while it would be nice to post about alot of it, most of it has been posted already in our various forum threads our members have kindly opened. But, needless to say alot of awesome gaming goodness came out of X06 this year, everything from the Halo Wars announcement, to Peter Jackson's new gaming venture with MS and the two games they will make, it was pretty interesting stuff. So instead of boring you to tears with a big newspost, how about a nice video of most of it?
TeamXbox has posted (I think) the entire press event in streaming and a downloadable format for you to enjoy. If you want to see Banjoo Kazooie, or Doom on Xbox Live Arcade, or Gears of War, Fable 2, or the absolutely mind blowing Alan Wake, then watch this video. The newly announced Marvel MMO by Cryptic? Check. It is exactly one hour long, and if you download it, it is about 200 megs or so. It isn't the greatest quality, but that really isn't an issue. There are also Games for Windows shown, including Alan Wake of course, among others.
