Wipeout Omega Collection will be updated to support PlayStation VR

Wipeout is one of those classic games from the 1990s. The first title made its debut on the PlayStation, and since then has spawned several sequels. If you have never experienced the futuristic racer, you may want to get your hands on the Wipeout Omega Collection, especially since it will offer PlayStation VR support early next year.

Wipeout Omega Collection initially made its debut in June and will be receiving an update that will allow players to experience the mayhem of racing in virtual reality (VR). Players will be able to race every single track in the game in VR mode, while being immersed in the newly introduced cockpit view with support for full head tracking and 3D audio.

Like before, the Omega Collection will feature Wipeout HD, Wipeout HD Fury and Wipeout 2048 and will run at 4K at 60fps. As mentioned prior, the update will arrive sometime in 2018. The collection can be purchased right now from the PlayStation Store as a digital download or from your favorite retail game outlet.
