The Surface Pro 4 only went on sale four months ago, but Microsoft has already been offering discounts on the high-end tablet in recent weeks. After trimming $100 USD off the device in the United States last month, it's now Canada's turn to enjoy some savings on the Pro 4 - but they won't be available for long.
The Microsoft Store is currently offering up to $350 CAD off all models in the Surface Pro 4 range in Canada, but the deal is due to end tomorrow, March 3, so you'll have to act quickly if you want to take advantage of it.
The entry-level Surface Pro 4 - with an Intel Core m3 processor, 4GB of RAM and 128GB of storage - is usually priced in Canada at $1,179, but with $80 off, it's currently available for $1,099. You can also, for example, get $180 off the mid-range Intel Core i5 / 8GB RAM / 256GB model, bringing its price down from $1,679 to $1,499.
The largest discount is only available on the range-topping Intel Core i7 version with a massive 16GB of RAM and 1TB SSD; normally priced at $3,499, the $350 savings reduce its price to $3,149.
Microsoft opened international pre-orders yesterday for its latest Type Cover for the Surface Pro 4, featuring a fingerprint sensor for biometric authentication in Windows 10. The keyboard cover, which is also compatible with the Surface Pro 3, is priced at $199.99 CAD, with shipments due to begin on March 15.
