Biostar debuts Intel 500 series chipset Valkyrie and Racing motherboards

Intel launched its new Rocket Lake-S desktop CPUs last night which means partner motherboard vendors have also started to show off their next set of accompanying motherboard products. Biostar - being one of them - has debuted its new 500 series Valkyrie and Racing series motherboards for the new CPUs.

Under the flagship Valkyrie series, there are two models, the Z590 ATX version and the Z590I mini-ITX version, where the "I" in the latter's name presumably indicates the ITX form factor. The Valkyrie sports gold and pink colors on a matte black PCB design. It's built with a 22-phase power delivery system and has full copper-based heatsink for heat dissipation.

The Racing series is a somewhat dialed down version with a 14-phase delivery system and comes with grey and tiffany blue on black color scheme. The Racing also features two models - the RACING Z590GTA ATX motherboard and the RACING B560GTQ micro-ATX model.

Alongside these higher-end models, Biostar has also launched a couple of H -series Micro-ATX budget offerings, namely the H510MH/E 2.0 and the H510MX/E 2.0. While these haven't been detailed, it's expected that the H510 series will lack most of the premium features of the Valkyrie and Racing series.

Pricing and availability of these parts is yet to be announced but they should start rolling out once the 11th gen Rocket Lake-S CPUs begin arriving at retail.
