Halo 2's "Killtacular" map pack, previously available for purchase on Xbox Live! for $5.99, is now available to all subscribers for free starting today. The two maps, Turf and Sanctuary, will be added into playlist rotation shortly according to Halo 2 developer Bungie. To get access to the maps all you must do is load Halo 2, sign into your Xbox Live account, and go to content download in the menu. This will exit the game into the content download dialogue, from where you'll have the map pack selectable.
Turf is a medium size, city based map that should be great for Territories game modes while Sanctuary is a smaller map well suited for multi-flag CTF games. So, what are you waiting for? Fire up your Xbox and check out these freely released maps.
