HERE Maps receives update, but is still missing from the Windows Store

HERE Maps, a cornerstone of navigation for Windows Phone and Windows 10 Mobile users, has received an update that will correct a bad download that blocked many from the service several months ago.

According to Windows Central, the app has received an update and will now allow existing HERE Maps users access to the service. Previously, users would be met with a message to download the latest version, but would be unable to do so, leaving them unable to access the map application. Unfortunately, new users looking to download HERE Maps from the Windows Store will disappointed, as it has not resurfaced after being pulled from the Store.

The latest update to HERE Maps will bring it to version 3.10.164.1 and is now available for those that have the app previously loaded on their Windows Phone and Windows 10 Mobile devices.
