Huawei has been busy of late, be it unveiling a new Honor View 10 handset, launching the V10 in China, or making new variations of its Mate 10. To show that it still has extra time on its hands, the Chinese company has launched a new Nova 2S phone as a follow up to the Nova 2 and Nova 2 Plus.
The new phone offers a 6-inch 18:9 display, a 20 MP front-facing camera with a f/2.0 aperture, and a 16 MP RGB sensor and a 20 MP monochrome sensor on the back with a f/1.8 aperture. Internally, it is running a Kirin 960 processor, a big boost from the Snapdragon 625 of the previous iterations, and comes in variations of 64GB and 128GB of storage. The phone can also have either 4GB or 6GB of RAM. It has slim bezels and home button with embedded fingerprint sensor.
Add to that a 3,340 mAh battery and fast charging capability, support for two SIM cards (or one SIM and one microSD), and it keeps a 3.5 mm headphone jack. It will also be running Android 8.0 Oreo out of the box.
The Huawei Nova 2s will come in five different colors - Black, Gray, Red, Rose Gold, and Blue - with the base model selling for 2699 yuan (about $400).
