Microsoft releases PowerToys 0.15.2 fixing spelling mistake and FancyZones

A week ago, Microsoft released PowerToys 0.15 which mainly focused on quality updates, but unfortunately some bugs found their way into that release and the company was forced to put out a 0.15.1 hotfix. Now, a week later, another hotfix bringing it to version 0.15.2 has been made available.

As with the two previous releases, the FancyZones portion received bug fixes, this time with an IO Exception handling issue which can cause the app to crash. Here's the changelog:

  • Installers now are signed with version number naming
  • IO Exception handling in FancyZone editor
  • Spelling mistake in settings

The team has also worked on documentation, cleaning up the list of issues on GitHub, and drafting up a number of documents. A strategy for version 1.0 has been outlined here and specs for a launcher and a keyboard manager have been published in the respective links.

If you're interested, you can download the latest version from the GitHub releases page.
