Nintendo sheds a little more light on upcoming 'The Champions' Ballad' DLC for Zelda

It wasn't that long ago when Nintendo announced that a new Zelda game would be making its way to the firm's Switch hybrid console. After selling massive quantities in its first month and still continuing its momentum months later, offering up DLCs would seem like a no-brainer.

Luckily, Nintendo planned for two expansions for the game, one that arrived at the end of the last month, and another, 'The Champions' Ballad' that will arrive sometime later this year. During its E3 2017 event, the firm didn't really expand on what the later expansion would offer, but luckily, Nintendo has now dropped some new tidbits through its official Twitter account.

Sure, there isn't much to gather from the clip, but at least we are getting a small tease of footage of the DLC while it is still in development. One important thing to note is that producer Eiji Aonuma did confirm that you will be still playing as Link, but that in the new expansion, you will learn a lot more about Zelda through the adventure.

Nintendo also let loose that the lobster shirt from The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker would be making a comeback in the upcoming DLC. If interested, you can now purchase the Expansion Pass for $19.99 that will give access to the current DLC and the upcoming one when it launches.
