In November, Microsoft announced Office Insider, along the same lines as the highly successful Windows Insider Program. The program was initially launched for Windows and Android users but was recently expanded to the Mac as well. Now, the company has released a new preview build for Android which can be downloaded through the Play Store by Office Insider participants.
The latest Office Insider build for Android, which carries the version number 16.0.6528.1008, was announced by Microsoft on Twitter. It includes three new features for Word which are as follows:
- Auto-save
- Version history
- Collaborative authoring
In order to participate in the Office Insider program for Android, users are required to join the official Google+ community as mandated by Google for testing apps on the Play Store. After joining the program, they can download the individual apps from the following links:
