Samsung Galaxy Tab A7 is now available to purchase in the U.S.

Samsung announced today the availability of the Galaxy Tab A7 in the U.S. The new tablet will be available to purchase in the country starting on October 8 for $229.99.

The Tab A7 will be available via Samsung's online store and its partner retailers in Dark Gray and Gold variants. In addition, a Silver model will be up for grabs exclusively through Amazon. For those who purchase the tablet through Samsung's online marketplace before October 25, the company is offering a 50% discount on the Book Cover Case that's normally worth $49.99.

Samsung first announced the Galaxy Tab A7 in India a week ago in both Wi-Fi and LTE models. However, the U.S. market is getting only the Wi-Fi version. Like its Indian variant, the U.S. version sports a 10.4-inch WUXGA+ display with a resolution of 2000 × 1200.

Under the hood, it is powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 662, paired with 3GB of RAM and up to 64GB of internal storage that's expandable up to 1TB via a microSD card slot. It also has a metal unibody with rounded corners. The tablet packs a 7,040mAh battery with a fast charging system.

Round the back, it has an 8MP camera while a 5MP shooter is on the front. The tablet also has quad speakers featuring Dolby Atmos surround sound. The Tab A7 also features Samsung's Knox security platform and runs Android 10.
