Sony has unveiled a new Final Fantasy XV-themed PlayStation 4 (PS4) bundle that features a custom designed version of the new, slimmer PS4 and a copy of Final Fantasy XV among other physical collectibles and additional digital content.
In a PlayStation Blog post, John Koller, vice president of PlayStation brand marketing, noted "PlayStation has had a long and storied history with the Final Fantasy franchise, which is why we are so excited that Final Fantasy XV will be coming to PS4 with a Limited Deluxe Edition Bundle."
The package will include "an exclusive Steelbook, the new DUALSHOCK 4 adorned with an XV graphic, the Kingsglaive: Final Fantasy XV Movie Blu-ray, and multiple pieces of DLC – the Royal Raiment Outfit, Masamune Weapon, and Leviathan Regalia Skin."
According to Sony, highlights of the new DualShock 4 controller are "improved analog sticks and trigger buttons" and "innovative new technologies such as the multi-touch, clickable touch pad, integrated light bar, and internal speaker."
In their press conference early this September, Sony announced both an updated PS4 (featured in this bundle) and the brand new PS4 Pro. This higher-end console brings 4K and HDR gaming experiences to users alongside an improved processor and graphics chip, with a standard 1TB worth of storage space.
The bundle will be available starting November 29th and be priced at $449 USD. The game will be available on the same day for both the Xbox One and PS4. While the Ultimate Collector's Edition is currently sold out, gamers can still pre-order the standard digital edition for $60.
