Lyft will add Venmo as a payment method for your rides in the next few weeks. The integration is rolling out in the U.S. and it will also let you split ride costs with friends or family.

After reports late last week, it appears that Google is rolling out Tez, a mobile payment app leveraging India's Unified Payments Interface (UPI) framework with support for three banks.
Google will reportedly be unveiling its new digital payments system, dubbed Google Tez, on the 18th of September. The system could allow users to transfer money between bank accounts on their mobiles.
