Update 2, or GDR2 as it's also known, was unofficially made available to a number of Lumia devices. It brings some UI changes, a new way of viewing Settings and support for new devices.

Development continues on Windows 10 for phones, but it seems another update is on the way to Microsoft's mobile OS, as its Dev Center site now includes references to 'Windows Phone 8.1 GDR2'.
