Xbox Insider Preview Beta users can now test out Xbox Game Pass

If you're on the Preview Beta ring of the Xbox Insider Program, you're in for a treat today, as you can now test out Xbox Game Pass, Microsoft's $10-per-month subscription program that will eventually provide access to over 100 games. It was originally offered to those on the Alpha ring, and you can try it out for free by starting the Quest in the Insider Hub.

At the time, there were 21 titles in the preview, including 17 Xbox 360 games and four for the Xbox One. They include some popular titles too, such as Sunset Overdrive, Halo: Spartan Assault, Gears of War: Judgment, and Gears of War: Ultimate Edition. But as mentioned above, when the program launches in the spring, it will have over 100 titles.

You can also share your Xbox Game Pass; in fact, it follows the same Home Sharing rights as Xbox Live Gold. In other words, if you already have your Xbox Live Gold account set up to be shared, this will be too.

Microsoft also notes that all Preview subscriptions will be canceled when it launches "later this spring"; however, Insiders have been receiving a message that it will end on April 7.
