Amazon announces its third annual Prime Day

Amazon has announced that its third annual Prime Day will be held on July 10th and 11th. Hundreds of thousands of exclusive deals will appear on Amazon for Prime customers all around the world. The 30-hour bonanza will begin at 6pm PT/9pm ET on Monday, July 10th. The event comes to 13 new countries this year.

Regarding this year’s expansion, Amazon says:

“Prime Day has expanded to 13 countries this year, and Amazon is bring new and existing members in the US, UK, Spain, Mexico, Japan, Italy, India, Germany, France, China, Canada, Belgium and Austria the best deal of the year. Members will find millions of items in stock, including deals from thousands of small businesses and entrepreneurs.”

The event should be quite good for anyone looking for a new TV. Amazon says it’s planning one of its largest total volume TV deals in history with a record level of inventory; it expects its inventory to sell out. One of the TV items to look out for is the Element 4K Ultra HD Smart LED TV – Amazon Fire TV Edition.

As an additional perk for customers on Prime Day, Amazon will release new footage from The Grand Tour season 2. The new footage sees Jeremy, Richard and James in Mozambique, Switzerland and the UK. The Grand Tour will resume with season 2 later this year.
