The continuing trend in the rise in prices for most of the major streaming subscription services has finally hit Apple. That means customers will be playing more for certain services.

The Apple TV+ service has posted on its site (via MacRumors) that the price of the video streaming service has gone up immediately from $6.99 a month to $9.99 a month. Until now, Apple TV+ has been among the most affordable streaming services that have not offered any ads. It's been steadily growing its library of original content and more movies and shows are on their way.

More recently Apple TV+ has been adding live sports, such as MLB Baseball games on Friday nights and also added the MLS Soccer games, including the MLS Cup playoff games that begin today, for an extra fee. So far, Apple has not indicated it will offer a cheaper plan with ads, like almost every other major streaming services has done in the past couple of years.

Apple Arcade, which lets iOS device owners access hundreds of premium mobile games for one monthly fee, has also raised its prices immediately, from $4.99 to $6.99 a month. Apple News+, which offers full access to hundreds of newspapers and magazines, has gone up in price from $9.99 to $12.99 a month.

Finally, Apple One, which bundles Apple TV+, Apple Arcade, Apple Music and iCloud+ with 50GB of cloud storage, has gone up from $16.95 a month to $19.95 a month. The same service with 200GB of storage and account sharing for up to five people, has gone up from $22.95 a month to $25.95 a month.

The Apple One Plan that bundles Apple TV+, Apple Arcade, Apple Music, Apple News+ and Apple Fitness+, along with 2TB of cloud storage for five people to share, has gone up in price from $32.95 to $37.95.

While all these price hikes will affect new subscribers, there's no word yet when current subscribers to these Apple services will be affected.
