LG G7 ThinQ unboxing and first impressions

A couple of weeks ago, LG announced its latest flagship phone, the G7 ThinQ. Rather than boasting specs - which include Qualcomm's latest Snapdragon 845 chipset - the company touted the device's features.

As usual, there are improvements to the camera, and as you'd expect from a device branded ThinQ, there are AI features. Now, the camera can actually tell what it's looking at, and it can adjust the settings accordingly. It also has a bright mode, for those low-light conditions that are tough for most smartphone cameras to handle.

And then there's audio. As with previous LG flagships, it includes the 32-bit Quad DAC that offers unparalleled headphone performance. But there's also Boombox speakers, so even if you don't have headphones, it's louder than ever before.

The display is improved as well. There's a new Super Bright mode, which jacks up the display to 1,000 nits, making it easy to see what's on the screen in bright sunlight.
