Microsoft updates Word for iPhone and iPad, build 1.30.1 now available in the Fast Ring

Microsoft has announced the availability of Word for iPhone and iPad build 1.30.1 (170222) in TestFlight to Office Insiders. It's the first update for Word since the preview for the Office suite become available for iOS in January.

The company notes that the changes, listed below, came after feedback from test users.

We’ve addressed lot of your feedback in this release, including:

  • You can now add Dropbox in Add a Place, so you can open and save your documents in Dropbox. Note: only one Dropbox account at a time can be used, but we're working on adding support for more. Stay tuned!
  • Ink and drawing fixes to the eraser and other improvements
  • Comments and Track Changes stability

You can grab the update right now, but if you aren't already an Office Insider, you can enroll here. Microsoft also noted in the announcement that Insiders can send feedback and bug reports by navigating to “File > Send Feedback”.
