Official Nintendo Switch unboxing video debuts, this time it's not a stolen unit

After the recent unofficial unboxing of a stolen Switch console, Nintendo has released its own unboxing video. As you would expect, the Nintendo unboxing is a bit more polished and goes into more detail, carefully showing off all the nooks, crannies, and buttons of the hybrid handheld console. While we also get to see the various cables and manuals that will arrive with the unit, along with the Joy-Con and Joy-Con Grip, Nintendo never actually boots up the unit to show us anything further.

Those that prefer a more hands-on approach will probably want to check out the North American Switch Tour that will arrive in Washington, D.C., Chicago, and San Francisco this month. The tour gives those in attendance a chance to play with the Switch and its various upcoming titles like Splatoon 2, ARMS, Just Dance 2017, Sonic Mania, and more.

The Nintendo Switch will make its way to retail on March 3 and will be priced at $299.99. Nintendo has committed to 2 million consoles in the first month globally for release.
