Six more games heading to Xbox Game Pass for the month of August were announced by Microsoft today. These new additions are split between the console and PC variants of the subscription service, with four heading to Xbox One and two for PC.
If past additions are anything to go by, these are only the games coming to Xbox Game Pass in the first half of August, with more planned for the second half. Here are the six games and the platforms they will be available on that were announced today:
Ashes Cricket - August 1 (Xbox One)
Ashes Cricket is the officially licensed video game of cricket’s greatest rivalry. Pandemic: The Board Game - August 1 (Xbox One)
Humanity is on the brink of extinction. As members of an elite disease control team, you’re the only thing standing in the way of the four deadly diseases spreading across the world. You must travel the globe protecting cities, containing infections from spreading, and discovering the cure for each disease. The fate of humanity is in your hands!
Downwell - August 1 (PC)
Downwell is a curious game about a young person venturing down a well in search of untold treasures with only his Gunboots for protection. Make your way further and further down into the darkness filled with nasty creatures and mysterious secrets to collect the spectacular red gems scattered about the rocks.

Space Hulk Tactics - August 8 (PC)

Slay the Spire - August 14 (Xbox One, PC)
We fused card games and roguelikes together to make the best single player deckbuilder we could. Craft a unique deck, encounter bizarre creatures, discover relics of immense power, and Slay the Spire!
Note that Slay the Spire has been part of the PC version of Xbox Game Pass since its inception, and this is now only hitting the Xbox One variant on its launch day on the platform.
The three flavors of the Xbox Game Pass subscription are the Xbox One version for $9.99 per month, the PC version for $4.99 per month, and the Ultimate variant for $14.99 per month. This more expensive version combines both PC and console variants as well as Xbox Live Gold. And speaking of, Microsoft's first Games with Gold wave is already up as well.
