The Walking Dead game goes live on PC

Telltale’s episodic version of The Walking Dead comic book series has been released on Steam today. The game has been getting very good reviews over the past day and seems to have helped steer Telltale away from the disaster that was their last release, Jurassic Park.

The game sees you take on the role of Lee Everett, a man convicted of an unknown crime, but who is offered a chance at redemption. Throughout all five episodes of The Walking Dead you will only play as Lee.

The game is based specifically on the comic books rather than the TV series, but you will still come across favorites such as Glenn and Hershel.  Each episode will last you around two hours and thankfully the game doesn’t use quick time events as the major part of the game-play unlike Jurassic Park: The Game, as you have full control over Lee as you progress through the game.

You can buy The Walking Dead via Steam right now – or through Telltale’s official website. The game is also due for release on the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 in the next day or so.
