Unboxing the GPD Pocket, a tiny Windows 10 laptop

There are plenty of Windows 10 laptops on the market but the GPD Pocket is unique, with a size that almost makes it pocketable. GPD is a company that is well known for its Android gaming handhelds but has been making strides over the past year in the Windows segment. For now, we can take a quick look at the Pocket and its various accessories that come inside the box.

The GPD Pocket arrives in a matte black box that carries the same packaging motif as previous GPD devices. The Pocket is small measuring in at 7.17 x 4.29 x 0.78 inches and its exterior chassis is made from a brushed metal that looks similar to Apple's MacBook line. Perhaps the most surprising part of the unit is that key travel of the keyboard. While it feels good, the keyboard does feel a bit cramped and will most likely not be comfortable to use for extended periods. Since space is limited, the unit does not have a trackpad and instead has a pointing stick. If this is not suitable, you can also utilize the touchscreen for more accurate selection.

If you have any questions, be sure to leave them in the comments. The GPD Pocket is now currently available from GearBest for around $500. You can expect a hands-on very soon, along with a full review in the coming weeks.
